Our Beginner Spray Tanning course is a professionally accredited, one-day training programme designed to give you the knowledge, confidence, and practical ability to safely and effectively offer spray tanning treatments. Spray tanning is a year-round, high-demand service, making it an excellent addition to any beauty business, whether for holidays, events, or maintaining colour during the colder months.

This course covers both the theoretical and practical elements of spray tanning, ensuring you understand not only how to apply the treatment, but why each step is important. You will learn consultation procedures, skin types and conditions, contraindications, colour selection, product knowledge, hygiene, infection control, and full health and safety compliance. Strong emphasis is placed on achieving even, natural-looking results while avoiding common application errors.

The practical element takes place in a supportive, hands-on learning environment. You will be required to complete two spray tans on the day. The first treatment will be fully guided step by step, allowing you to build confidence and technique. The second treatment will be completed under close observation to assess your understanding and application of everything covered throughout the course. You will need to supply your own models for the practical assessment.
